The Used Godox GM55 5.5″ 4K HDMI Touchscreen On-Camera Monitor is a compact and versatile monitoring solution designed for filmmakers, photographers and videographers who need a larger, more capable display on set. Combining a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS touchscreen, 4K HDMI support and a comprehensive range of professional monitoring tools, the GM55 provides greater control over focus, exposure, framing and image evaluation. The GM55 features a 1920 × 1080 Full HD IPS display with a 1000:1 contrast ratio, 8-bit colour depth and a 160° horizontal and vertical viewing angle. The display is factory calibrated to the Rec.709 colour standard, providing dependable colour reproduction for video and production monitoring.
4K HDMI Input & Output
Although the GM55 has a Full HD display, it accepts high-resolution video signals via HDMI, including UHD 4K up to 30p and DCI 4K up to 24p. It also supports a wide range of HD formats up to 1080p60. The HDMI output provides signal pass-through, allowing the camera feed to be sent onward to another monitor or recording device as part of a larger production setup.

LUT Support
The GM55 supports importing .cube 3D LUT files via its SD card slot, with support for 17-, 32-, 33-, 64-, and 65-point LUTs. This allows filmmakers to preview a desired colour grade or creative look while shooting, making it useful when working with log footage and other flat picture profiles.
Flexible Power Options
The monitor accepts DC 7–24V input and is compatible with Sony NP-F550, NP-F750, and NP-F970-style batteries, making it suitable for portable camera rigs and longer production days. The GM55 also features a DC output capable of providing up to 8V/1.5A for powering compatible camera equipment, helping reduce the number of separate batteries and power solutions required on a compact rig.
Compact On-Camera Design
At approximately 318g including the sun hood, the GM55 is designed to add professional monitoring capabilities without significantly increasing the weight of a camera setup.
