Alvins Cables 8K 2.1 Full HDMI Cable 17/28in Braided Coiled Red / Straight-Straight: High-Bandwidth 8K60 & 4K120 Camera Rig Connectivity
The Alvins Cables 8K 2.1 Full HDMI Cable is a flexible, coiled HDMI 2.1 lead designed for camera operators, studio photographers, and content creators who need extended reach between a camera and a monitor or recorder while keeping an 8K60 or 4K120 signal stable. Supporting the latest HDMI 2.1 standards, this cable ensures reliable transmission of high-bandwidth signals, including resolutions up to 8K Ultra HD at 60Hz and 4K at 120Hz. Its 17 to 28-inch (approximately 45.7 to 71.1 cm) coiled length makes it ideal for setups where a versatile connection is required, minimizing cable clutter and ensuring optimal signal integrity for your critical video and audio needs.
High Speed HDMI 2.1 for Optimal Performance:
This cable is designed to meet full HDMI 2.1 specifications, ensuring it can handle demanding transmission speeds up to 48Gbps bandwidth. It reliably transmits data for high-frame-rate video signals up to 8K Ultra HD (7680 x 4320) at 60Hz and 4K at 120Hz, delivering smooth and clear visuals with vibrant colors and sharp detail. This makes it perfect for connecting digital cinema cameras, DSLRs, mirrorless cameras, mini PCs, and other devices to field monitors, external recorders, and switchers.
Supports 8K Ultra HD at 60Hz & 4K at 120Hz:
Experience stunning clarity and detail with support for 8K Ultra HD resolution at 60Hz and 4K resolution at a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. This high bandwidth capability ensures that high-resolution monitoring and raw video feeds pass through without any loss of quality, dropped frames, or signal bottlenecks, crucial for professional video and photography workflows.
Coiled 17 to 28-Inch Design for Tidy Connections:
The coiled layout of this cable provides extra reach for setups where the monitor or recorder is positioned further along a large camera cage, gimbal, or shoulder rig. Extending from 17 inches up to 28 inches (45.7 to 71.1 cm), the springy coil retracts automatically when released, preventing dangling loops, snagging on clamps, or pulling on delicate HDMI ports during operation.
Durable and Reliable Construction:
Built with high-quality tinned copper conductors, triple-layer shielding, and a vibrant red braided sleeve, the Alvins Cables HDMI cable is designed for maximum durability and signal protection. The triple-layer shielding holds off electromagnetic (EMI) and radio-frequency (RFI) interference caused by nearby wireless transmitters and power units on set. Anti-corrosion 24K gold-plated connectors ensure a stable, low-resistance link across repeated use.
Versatile Compatibility:
Featuring standard full-size HDMI (Type A) male connectors on both ends with a straight-to-straight orientation, this cable offers broad compatibility with professional equipment, including:
- Digital Cinema & Mirrorless Cameras: Connect camera HDMI ports directly to external displays.
- Field Monitors & Recorders: Seamlessly feed display units such as Atomos Ninja, SmallHD, Portkeys, or Feelworld monitors.
- Wireless Video Transmitters & Gimbals: Link HDMI transmitters or gimbals cleanly without excess cable slack.
- Mini PCs & Laptops: Connect compact workstations to 8K or high-refresh-rate 4K displays.
Essential for Gimbal and Rig Workflows:
Whether you’re working on location or in a studio environment, the Alvins Cables 8K 2.1 Full HDMI Cable provides a reliable and convenient connection for your HDMI-equipped devices. Its compact coiled size makes it easy to pack and transport, while its high-speed capabilities ensure optimal signal transmission for your critical monitoring and recording needs.
