The Used FLYCAM Redking Video Camera Stabiliser with Arm Brace is a professional mechanical camera stabilisation system designed to help filmmakers achieve smoother, more controlled handheld camera movements. Its three-axis stabilisation system balances the camera around a central handle, allowing for controlled pan, tilt and roll movements while walking, running, climbing stairs or following a subject.
The Redking supports camera and accessory configurations weighing up to 15 lb / 6.8 kg, providing capacity for DSLR, mirrorless and video cameras along with accessories such as lenses, matte boxes, microphones and other rigging equipment. Its adjustable centre post and expandable base allow the stabiliser to be balanced for different camera configurations.
The included FLYCAM Arm Brace provides additional support by distributing the stabiliser’s weight across the forearm. The cushioned brace is designed to reduce arm stress and fatigue during extended handheld operation, making it particularly useful for longer tracking shots and mobile productions.
A Manfrotto 501-compatible quick-release camera plate allows cameras to be mounted and removed efficiently, while the stabiliser’s 16 removable counterweight plates provide flexible balancing options for different camera setups.

Three-Axis Mechanical Stabilisation
The FLYCAM Redking uses a three-axis ball-bearing stabilisation system to balance the camera around a central handle. This allows the camera to remain horizontally balanced while the operator moves through a scene.
The system provides controlled pan, tilt and roll movement, making it suitable for tracking subjects, following action and creating smoother moving-camera shots without relying on electronic stabilisation.
The stabiliser can support up to 15 lb / 6.8 kg, providing enough capacity for many camera and lens combinations as well as additional production accessories.
Adjustable Counterbalance System
The Redking features 16 removable counterweight plates, allowing the stabiliser to be balanced according to the weight and configuration of the mounted camera.
The base can also be adjusted in width from approximately 11.5 to 15 inches, while the telescopic centre post can be adjusted to help achieve the correct vertical balance.
Proper balancing is essential for achieving smooth stabilisation and should be performed whenever the camera configuration changes.
Quick-Release Camera Mount
The Redking incorporates a quick-release camera platform with a Manfrotto 501-compatible plate and 1/4″-20 mounting screw.
This allows a compatible camera setup to be attached or removed efficiently and can make it easier to move the camera between the stabiliser and other compatible support equipment.
Arm Brace Support
The included FLYCAM Arm Brace adds ergonomic support when operating the stabiliser.
The cushioned brace wraps around the operator’s forearm and provides a mounting point for the stabiliser handle. By distributing some of the stabiliser’s weight across the forearm rather than relying entirely on the hand and wrist, it is designed to reduce fatigue during extended operation.
This makes the bundle particularly useful for mobile productions, event coverage, documentary work and longer tracking sequences.
