The bracket’s NATO clamp also allows quick attachment and removal from compatible NATO rails, including the side rail on the Tilta Camera Cage for Sony FX5.
Dedicated 30cm EVF Extension Cable
The kit includes a purpose-designed 30cm extension cable that allows the Sony FX5’s original electronic viewfinder to be repositioned while maintaining its connection to the camera. The cable uses a 13-core tinned-copper twisted-pair construction with reinforced PVC sheathing and strain-relief structures at both ends, helping it withstand repeated bending and pulling during production use.
Integrated mounting points at both ends provide additional rigging options, helping operators adapt the cable to different camera builds and working configurations.
NATO Rail, 15mm Rod & Accessory Mounting Options
Beyond extending the viewfinder, the kit provides additional mounting flexibility for compatible camera accessories. The camera-side cable assembly incorporates a NATO rail and a 3/8″-16 mounting thread with locating points, alongside a 1/4″-20 adapter. The viewfinder-side assembly features additional 1/4″-20 locating threads and a 15mm rod holder interface.
These mounting options allow the system to be integrated into a range of rigs using compatible rods, NATO rails, articulating arms and handles. The bracket also features a 3/8″-16 thread with locating points and a 1/4″-20 adapter, creating further possibilities for accessory attachment.
