Description

There are 14 curved Iris blades in the FF Primes. This is especially great if you are looking for a bokeh effect. Out of focus edges are smooth and don’t show any obvious distortions, giving you a more natural look. The barrels are clean, simple, and share the same physical characteristics across the set. The similar length of each lens makes it easy to manage when changing them,  making quick lens swapping a breeze. They are also colour matched across the set, and the barrels are clearly marked for focus and iris. The focus and iris gearing is also uniformly positioned from lens to lens so that follow focus mechanisms, motors, matte boxes and other accessories needn’t be painstakingly repositioned and adjusted each time a lens is changed.

The lenses produce sharp and crisp images, from corner to corner, yet manage to smooth out the harshness of 4K sensors, especially in the skin tones, without losing any resolution or clarity, creating a natural organic look that is also textured and rich. There is also very little focus breathing.
