When combined with this Speed Booster, the crop factor of a Micro Four Thirds camera is compensated for by the 0.71x magnification. The 2.0x full-frame crop factor is reduced to 1.4x.
With its 1-stop aperture increase, this Speed Booster draws more light into the sensor for further enriched images, even in low lighting. It can connect any full-frame lens to a Micro Four Thirds camera, achieving high performance with DX and APS-C lenses that have the right size image circles. Even modern lenses such as those from the Zeiss Otus series can improve with the addition of this Speed Booster.
It incorporates five optical elements in four groups, integrating ultra-high index tantalum-based optical glass, channelling light to create stunning images. This Speed Booster performs so well that the MTF of a lens is actually improved during connection.
