Description

This Metabones Canon EF to Micro Four Thirds T CINE Speed Booster XL 0.64x is designed to mount a Canon EF lens to a Micro Four Thirds camera and is especially useful with the Panasonic Lumix GH4 and several other Micro Four Thirds cameras.

It transforms the GH4 into an APS-H format camera by converting the 2.0x full-frame crop factor to 1.28x. In Cinema 4k video mode, the 2.34x horizontal full frame crop factor shrinks to 1.50x, giving your GH4 a super-35 format 4k cine camera.  It provides a magnification of 0.64x, compensating for the crop factor of Micro Four Thirds cameras.

An awesome advantage, is its 1.3-stop aperture increase, subsequently increasing the amount of light absorbed by the sensor. Coupled with a 50mm f/1.2 lens, you’ll acquire a focal length of 32mm and an insanely wide aperture of f/0.80, which is one of the fastest full-size Micro Four Thirds apertures available. Via this Speed Booster, a full-frame lens can connect to a Micro Four Thirds camera to capture a larger image than usually possible with a Micro Four Thirds sensor. Additionally, this adapter’s six optical elements (divided into four groups) will ensure pristine picture quality and even improve the MTF of most lenses.

This T CINE Speed Booster features precision-machined brass connection points with chromium plating for long-lasting durability as well as minimized weight. Its positive-lock lens mount will secure to your lens tightly, reducing the potential for wear while eliminating focus errors and optical alignment issues. Thanks to its detachable foot, this T CINE Speed Booster is capable of mounting to an Arca-Swiss, Photo Clam or Markins tripod head.

This adapter boasts true electronic integration of a lens’ aperture diaphragm for automatic aperture selection in cooperation with the camera’s P or S exposure mode and manual aperture selection in A or M mode. It also stores communicated EXIF data such as lens identification, focal length and aperture. This T CINE Speed Booster will even support Cinema EOS lenses – including their servo zoom, auto iris and (if the adapter is externally powered with 5V through its micro USB port) auto focus.

This T CINE Speed Booster is a high-performance lens adapter for professionals and enthusiasts alike … and will be a great addition to your gear.
