The Fujinon 8×42 Hyper Clarity Binoculars are engineered with a moderate magnification that allows you to observe distant subjects while presenting you with a long eye relief and a wide exit pupil that enhances your viewing comfort.
It employs complementary technologies to produce an optic that is built for superior performance in low light and the harshest conditions. First is the use of extra-low dispersion (ED) lanthanum glass in the lens elements to correct chromatic and spherical aberrations. Fujinon then employs their Super EBC anti-reflection multicoatings, which increase light transmission, image contrast, and sharpness, and provide true color rendition. Next are phase-corrected and dielectric-coated roof prisms, which limit internal light loss and interference and improve image contrast. This all translates to bright, clear high-contrast images with accurate color across the wide field of view with a reduced appearance of visible hand shake—especially in low light conditions such as those in the early morning and late evening, and under heavily overcast skies.
