The Bright Tangerine Essentials Kit for RED KOMODO-X is a curated accessory package designed to provide filmmakers and camera operators with the essential support tools needed for confident, professional shooting with the RED KOMODO-X cinema camera. Engineered to integrate seamlessly with the KOMODO-X’s compact form factor, this kit elevates your workflow by enhancing protection, ergonomics, modularity, and overall handling — whether you’re on a narrative set, documentary shoot, commercial production, or run-and-gun assignment.
All-In-One Solution for Core Rigging Needs:
Filmmakers often need a reliable set of foundational accessories that unlock utility and ease of use without adding undue complexity. This Essentials Kit brings together carefully selected Bright Tangerine components — engineered with precision machining, hardened finishes, and industry-standard interfaces — so you can build a cohesive support system from day one. It’s ideal for shooters who want pro-grade enhancements without individually sourcing multiple parts.
Enhanced Protection and Handling:
The Essentials Kit includes components that help protect the RED KOMODO-X body from wear and tear while improving overall grip and control. The kit’s rigging elements create secure anchor points for attaching handles, brackets, and support gear, making handheld work more comfortable and predictable. With these tools in place, you’ll be ready for long days on set without compromise.
Seamless Integration With Professional Rigs:
Every piece in the kit is engineered to work with Bright Tangerine’s ecosystem and common third-party accessories. Whether you’re building your setup around a cage, NATO rail, shoulder mount, or gimbal platform, the Essentials Kit acts as a foundational layer that adds compatibility and adaptability — maximizing your ability to customize the KOMODO-X for your specific workflow.
Modular and Expandable:
The beauty of this kit is not just what it includes but how it fits into a broader system. Each component provides industry-standard mounting points — such as ARRI rosettes, NATO rails, 1/4-20 threads, and accessory holes — so you can expand your rig over time. As your production needs evolve, your camera setup can evolve with you.
Reliable Construction for Professional Use:
Bright Tangerine products are known for their rugged reliability, and this Essentials Kit is no exception. CNC-machined aluminum components with hard-anodized finishes ensure durability and resilience through repeated use under demanding conditions. Each piece is engineered for real-world filmmaking — combining strength with lightweight practicality.
Perfect for Hybrid Shooting Styles:
Whether you shoot handheld, on stabilizers, in studio, or in remote locations, this kit enhances your ability to capture stable, cinematic imagery.
