The GFX family has welcomed a revolutionary new member! This Fujifilm GFX 100 is a lightweight, medium format mirrorless camera that’s achieved one of (if not) the highest image quality in the photographic world. It’s the first of its class to hold a CMOS sensor with over 100 million pixels and in cooperation with its X-Processor 4 image processor, you can expect excellent colour reproduction, especially through the ultra-sharp Fujinon GF lenses. The sensor was specifically designed for this GFX 100 – sized at 55mm diagonally (43.8×32.9mm) with an operative pixel count of approx. 102 million – to deliver smooth gradation and sharpness. While a higher pixel count usually means a higher chance of camera shake, FUJIFILM’s IBIS system has been designed specifically for the 102MP sensor and achieve up to 5.5 stops of image stabilization. With the combination of BSI CMOS Sensor and X-Processor 4, this camera will support 16-bit RAW and 100MP+ TIFF internal conversion.
This camera also allows you to benefit in terms of rich colour and tonal reproduction found in FUJIFILM FILM SIMULATION. Enjoy filmmaking in 4K30P (10bit 4:2:2 externally and 10bit 4:2:0 internally) producing an enhanced tonal gradient in 10bit with great ISO sensitivity, detailed texture, 3-dimensional definition and shallow depth of field. The FUJIFILM FILM SIMULATION can be applied to video too. This camera even supports the digital camera aspect ratio (17:9), compression codecs H.265 and H264 as well as a bit rate of up to 400Mbps. It’s the first GFX to use phase detection AF algorithm of the 4th generation X series cameras, which makes use of all 3.76 million phase detection pixels across the sensor.
